With detailed military understanding and a focus on trauma, death/grieving, and celebration of life, Andrea strives to allow empathetic transition and guide compassionate healing. The countryside setting near Ft.Bragg, NC, provides copacetic respite and refuge among horses and animals, as well as a peaceful location for memorial services and life celebration. Military, families, veterans, and civilians are always welcome for horsemanship immersion, as well as authentic decompression and creativity experiences. We’re all in this together; please come join us. 🙂 (At present, Andrea is also completing her doctoral studies in Community Counseling & Care – Trauma.)
Andrew J. Vaughn was endorsed by The Humanist Society as a Humanist Celebrant in 2015. His goal is to celebrate the human experience in his work as a celebrant. He provides services primarily in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area, but is willing to travel throughout Iowa and beyond.
I believe that we strengthen ourselves and give meaning to our lives when we take the time to celebrate with joy our transitions and turning points. By doing so, even when our lives are filled with sorrow and pain, we will have these days to remember. This is why I became a Humanist Celebrant to mark this day with love and significance. ?I will be honored to be your guide and director of your days ceremony. ?Are you looking for a ceremony that will resonate with you over time? If yes, please review my website, and contact me to set up a complimentary introductory interview. I have been a Celebrant since 2014 and have considerable experience planning wedding ceremonies and celebrations of a lifetime.
One reason I became a humanist chaplain is because I love helping people make the most of life’s biggest moments. I’m a warm, friendly leader with loads of experience both on-stage and behind the scenes, so working with couples to pull off wonderful weddings is a joyful privilege for me. If you want a better sense of my personality, check out an episode of my podcast, Humanize Me.
