I’ve been a Humanist Celebrant since 2015. It is not my primary job, yet I am honored to perform non-religious ceremonies whenever I am available. I have done weddings, funerals, vigils, and vow-renewals. These events are important to those involved and I like to work with the participants to develop a custom ceremony tailored to their needs.
I am glad to be a Humanist Celebrant and Chaplain in the the Chicagoland area. As a Celebrant, it would be my honor to journey with persons for officiating weddings (including pre-marital guidance), facilitating memorials, baby dedications, secular invocations, and other spiritual care needs. Currently I work as a Chaplain and Certified Educator Student at a Level 1 Trauma hospital in a suburban county. My background is as a youth adviser, elderly caregiver, human rights advocate, and writer.
Hi. My name is Max and I became a Humanist celebrant in 2018. I am an attorney and live in Brooklyn. I’m a dog person, blue belt in Brazilian jujitsu and do the Polar Bear plunge in the icy waters of Coney Island every January 1.
Personalizing the meaningful moments of life. From weddings to memorials and anything in between including transition and coming out ceremonies. Also providing personal support and advocacy during difficult times in hospital, hospice, and prison settings.
