I offer highly personalized and secular ceremonies for weddings, vow renewals, end of life memorials, baby welcomings and transgender naming celebrations. It is my honor to work with you to create a meaningful and memorable ceremony that reflects your love.
I’ve been a Humanist Celebrant since 2015. It is not my primary job, yet I am honored to perform non-religious ceremonies whenever I am available. I have done weddings, funerals, vigils, and vow-renewals. These events are important to those involved and I like to work with the participants to develop a custom ceremony tailored to their needs.
As a professional marketing communicator and writer, I have a penchant for listening to what people say and translating it into exactly the message they want to express. I am an experienced presenter, a detail-oriented event leader, and a romantic at heart. I believe that weddings and other life celebrations should be meaningful, memorable, and reflect the individuals’ distinctive personalities and relationships. I enjoy learning about my clients’ stories and working with them to customize a ceremony that is truly theirs. My optimistic, accepting, and confident demeanor allows clients to relax, enjoy, and remember this significant event in their lives.
Your ceremony can, and should, truly reflect your personalities, beliefs and values. You deserve a beautiful and memorable wedding and I have the experience and professionalism to create that for you. Whether you are planning well in advance or want to get married quickly, I can provide just the right ceremony. I officiate ceremonies for all of life’s milestones, here in the Poconos, as well as the Lehigh Valley (Allentown/Easton/Bethlehem) Scranton, Northern NJ, and of course my own beautiful Harmony Gardens wedding site.
Hi. My name is Max and I became a Humanist celebrant in 2018. I am an attorney and live in Brooklyn. I’m a dog person, blue belt in Brazilian jujitsu and do the Polar Bear plunge in the icy waters of Coney Island every January 1.
