Andrew J. Vaughn was endorsed by The Humanist Society as a Humanist Celebrant in 2015. His goal is to celebrate the human experience in his work as a celebrant. He provides services primarily in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area, but is willing to travel throughout Iowa and beyond.
To help individuals commemorate special landmark occasions in their life, I create and officiate a custom ceremony by applying your story, your celebration, your way. I provide services for weddings, baby naming dedications, memorial or funeral services, and wise woman recognition events. I am also available to present secular invocations at civic meetings.
I will gladly officiate at your Jewish, interfaith or non-traditional wedding ceremony, no ifs, buts or maybes! I will happily co-officiate with non-Jewish clergy, officiate on Friday night or on Saturday, and I will leave child rearing decisions to you. I have officiated over 400 weddings, since 2008. Located in Dallas, Texas, I will travel anywhere you need me to go (in the U.S. or abroad) to officiate at your interfaith wedding, and help make your special day truly wonderful.
Offering Baby Naming, Coming of Age, Small Weddings, and Memorial Ceremonies. I keep the ceremonies casual, respectful and fun where appropriate. My fees are reasonable and travel is only charged if over 20 miles each way. If downtown – Chicago parking fees. I would love to help you celebrate your life occasion. Respectful divorce ceremonies considered. I’m here to help you.
