Congratulations on your engagement! I would be happy to celebrate with you in a secular ceremony. I have been a Humanist my entire life, and I have been working as a Humanist Rabbi since 2001. Let’s create something beautiful together!
With detailed military understanding and a focus on trauma, death/grieving, and celebration of life, Andrea strives to allow empathetic transition and guide compassionate healing. The countryside setting near Ft.Bragg, NC, provides copacetic respite and refuge among horses and animals, as well as a peaceful location for memorial services and life celebration. Military, families, veterans, and civilians are always welcome for horsemanship immersion, as well as authentic decompression and creativity experiences. We’re all in this together; please come join us. 🙂 (At present, Andrea is also completing her doctoral studies in Community Counseling & Care – Trauma.)
Andrew J. Vaughn was endorsed by The Humanist Society as a Humanist Celebrant in 2015. His goal is to celebrate the human experience in his work as a celebrant. He provides services primarily in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area, but is willing to travel throughout Iowa and beyond.
One reason I became a humanist chaplain is because I love helping people make the most of life’s biggest moments. I’m a warm, friendly leader with loads of experience both on-stage and behind the scenes, so working with couples to pull off wonderful weddings is a joyful privilege for me. If you want a better sense of my personality, check out an episode of my podcast, Humanize Me.
Available to celebrate weddings, funerals, graveside services, coming of age services, baby naming and other life milestone events in the Chicago and northern Illinois area.
